Almost everything that happens in the world impacts us in some way. If we only look for things that clearly affect us, we will surely miss out on a lot. So What tries to bring a sense of personal connection to the news, even when it may seem completely disconnected.

About the Author

I’m a software engineer who gets excited about “boring” things like finance and playing (and watching) golf. I enjoy learning new things, but I like teaching even more. I hope to share some knowledge with this newsletter, as well as keep myself up to date with current events.

I've always been better at communicating my thoughts through writing than speaking, and after many years of considering putting together public works of writing, I've settled on this newsletter! I like being able to write directly to the readers, and am hoping to evoke some sort of reflection in you!

I'm far from the best writer, so my voice as a writer and the direction of the newsletter is sure to evolve. Hopefully this project will last beyond a few months, and having a weekly schedule should keep me accountable. I’m always open to comments and feedback, and I can’t wait to start writing for you! Thanks for reading!
